The “Wear it Pink”

The David Lloyd Health & Fitness Club, located in Raynes Park, is for the first time to host a Wedding Fair. This is to be held on Saturday 24th January 2009 from 11am till 4pm.
As mentioned, this is a first time, exclusive event for David Lloyd and we have the honour of organising this event on their behalf. However, we feel that as it is to be such a popular and successful event, we would also like to help raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Care. Therefore, we are planning to charge a small entrance fee of ₤1.00 (children go free) and all entry monies will be donated to this deserving charity. We will also be donating a large percentage from the stall hire.
PLUS!!!!!! A Piece of history is coming to town…….A rare opportunity to also view a private collection of Vintage Wedding Dresses dating from 1860’s.
The collection includes exclusively for this Wedding Show a piece of Princess Diana’s wedding dress taken from her last fitting!
We will also be encouraging Stall holders and guests to wear something pink and participate fully in raising money for this cause.
Whilst we appreciate that many of you are involved in events on a Saturday, i.e. Weddings, etc., we are trying a new approach to establish David Lloyd as a venue and to promote ourselves as a new, modern and fresh supplier to the wedding industry.
We feel many wedding fairs are repetitive and at times uninviting and therefore we are trying this whole new design, venue and promotional materials to enhance the wedding fairs of tomorrow.
We would love for your company to be involved with this exciting opportunity to promote your goods. The hire of a stall is only £99.00 (6ft x 2ft table only). We will be offering pitches on a first come, first served basis and hope that you will be able to participate in this one off charity event.
Another way you could get involved on the day would be to promote your product or service based on a pink theme or a pink product – this would be a great way to promote your product or service and Breakthrough Breast Cancer Care. This could be a one off display within your normal range, etc.
As the organiser of this event, we will be supplying pink tablecloths for your stalls, but if this is something you would prefer not to have, then just let us know!

You will also be provided a copy of the Bridal Database from this show.
We also advertise via Mail Shots, Road signs, Banners, Shop Posters and Flyers – Exhibition Booklets and Breast Cancer Awareness Goody Bags containing Information supplied by each exhibitor to gain further exposure will be given to each attending Bride. Whilst, we realise that “Wear it Pink” day is held in October, we feel that one day a year is not enough. Sadly, one in nine women will develop Breast Cancer at some point in their lives – that’s why supporting Cancer Research UK’s life saving work with your own fundraising is so important. Let’s all get involved and help us beat Breast Cancer for all the important women in your lives. Hope you can join us
